Benwu Edition is Shanghai/New York-based independent designer brand launched by Benwu Studio during the 2015 Salone in Milano. We create a new generation of sustainable furniture, accessories, and lighting by studying and re-thinking everyday life. Inspired by progressive fashion, our design approach is to create playful and functional objects that are advanced as well as relevant. The collection is driven by craftsmanship, material and tech research as well as making sure that every product has a story worth telling.
In 2019, we planned a collectable limited-edition line called the Benwu Edition Limited that combines artistry, inspiration, and craftsmanship. This limited collection contains the most premium versions of our best product for the collector market. This quest exists to continually broaden our horizons, all while working across cultures and disciplines to create a vibrant, artistic collection.
